Looking at this year’s graduates research, patterns of interest emerge; a search for new languages and models — a reclaiming of old ones; an attention to process, to place, and a valuing of ‘things’ and the sensual. Some reaffirm the importance of self-initiation, others an engagement with inclusivity in the public realm.
All formulate other worlds for us; the reader, the viewer, the user offering an array of ideas that respond to the needs of our time. Each student has honed their own practice and formulated their own direction as they take their next steps into the world to become the designers, researchers, innovators and industry challengers of the future — and we are immensely proud of them all.
